Hot hot hot v.v;

Back with a FFXI update. Just a short one this time. I have been playing FFXI quite a bit still, but with the horsey here I've been slacking off a bit lately. Need to manage my timer better @.@;

Linkshell is still doing great. After a whole lot of Ixion and Sandworm chaining, we've decided to cooldown a bit on that, which has given us more time to do other things. The usual stuff is still going smooth and alot of people have gotten cool items.

As for my personal adventure, I'm totally hooked on the WIndy missions. In the passed I have done all the quests in Windurst and ofcourse the missions, but they really don't compare to the WOTG missions/quests. They're awesome to watch. I recommend to do them, I'd love to help on the BCs.
These are just some random screenshots from it. The storyline is beautiful, funny and sad. /snif.

Spookums!

I nearly cried!

NUUU I didn't wanna kill  her ; ;.
This was the final mission from the new addon. Unfortunatelly it was nowhere near as good as the WOTG ones /sigh. These missions aren't really worth mentioning... Lame and dissapointing...

CUTENESS! <33333333333

In Holland, horse sits on you!

  • Jun. 21st, 2009 at 8:30 PM
First a kitty, now a horse! Need lots of different animals to replace my bro with (he's leaving the house). The horse's name is Wayne (might end up calling him Lil'Wayne or nigga (*/-\). He's 6 years old. and he doesn't really know much yet, but that can be learned. He's also a bit fat and has a big head XD But we can work on his proportions too. I'm really happy I'm gonna sign the papers tomorrow, but also really scared. Hope I'm making the right decision. He's not my perfect horse, but maybe those don't exist >~<

My kitty!

  • Jun. 14th, 2009 at 5:26 PM
Gonna get him the first of July. Can't wait :D

This little fella comes from a litter of 5 kittens. All of them got the same color, except for him T_T.
He came about 1 hour after all the others were born and the mother didn't even see him T__T.
Everytime they are laying in their box, all the grey ones are clusterfucking like on this pic. And my little kitty is alone, away from the rest T___T.
These kitties were all put on the interwabs and all were sold out within a week, except for this little fella. The owner kept putting a new advertise on, but no one wanted him T____T

Gonna hug him to death when I get him '~'
Need to think of a cool name though!

LolNidhog

Lol at what happened a few days ago back at Aery.
We decided to camp Nidhog versus the lovely nasa (for those that don't play the game anymore, it's an incredibly powerful bot that belongs to 1 linshell in the server). Our chances were very little because of that, but also because we only had 8 people. After some time Nidhog decided to pop and after months of getting outclaimed, we finally claimed it again. Big problem though: I was the only tank >~<. I immediately freaked out. I had tanked Nidhog a couple of time but it was always with the help of great PLDs. Now I was alone trying to order linkshell around and keeping shadows up >.<. That didn't really go well together. I've noticed before when poking Ixion on PLD that I really can't focus on anything other than tanking. Anyway we slept it 4 times in the hope that people would rush to help us. After that we really had to fight it >.<. So with sweaty hands I start spamming my keyboard. I dunno what I was hoping for ; that utsumi would cast faster or something? I dunno, but my keyboard didn't appreciate it and turned against me...
Here I was, with Nidhog on me and an out-of-control keyboard... I tried to remove macropalet that was stuck but it wouldn't let me. Instead my keyboard decided it was time for a walk... Out of nowhere my little taru begins to walk away from Nidhog! O...M...G... Guess who followed me... HOLY SHIT NOOOOOOOOOOO! My heart stopped beating... I was gonna PK my whole linkshell...........
Thank goddddddd I hit a wall and everyone noticed something was really wrong... My linkshell all disengaged and slept it sooo fast, it was amazing! For some strange reason I was still able to chat, so I told them that I had to fake d/c and leave them alone without a tank. Luckily another tank was nearby and after relogging fast everything went smooth. Ended up killing Nid with the weirdest ally ever, but it worked out XD! And all the effort was awarded with finallllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy an Adaberk again. I would've killed someone if that wasn't an Adaberk Nid... Eventhough I think I would've been killed if that was an Adaberk Nid and I Spike Flailed everyone... >.>; phew... who says FFXI is boring?

Enough text. Picture time '~'

Old picture but it looked cute. We been chaining Sandworm like crazy. Hurray for CG moving to another server. Finally camping this for 5 hours isn't a complete waste!

and Ponyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
We always have a blast at Ixion. The linkshell used to make alot of jokes about my obsession with horses. They all stop doing that after Toon died ._. So considerant of them. /kneel linkshell

My very first Ultima on PLD!
I was always WHM there but since we no longer have alot of people for Limbus, we have to be creative with the jobs. It's so much fun to tank! And I can survive all Citabel Busters \(^-^)/

Ding thief 75! Finallyyyy after 4 years or something.

Scholar time now!

TeamTaru action shot.

Another one of those IHateBloodSucker times. 0/18 $@(%*@()$@

Dante trying to be meany...

Dantejinx

Team SCNM

My new Salvage group (>'-')>

And ending with random cute kitties. Got alot more pictures to post but will leave those for next time.
Until then! (*'-')/

Old, new update

  • Jan. 27th, 2009 at 6:59 PM
Started this update a while back, with the idea that I would update a bit more frequent, but I never gotten to finish it. So cheers to this old, new update.

Story time!: Once upon a time there was a Khimaira that was about to pop.
We decided to camp it, eventhough we usually don't do it.
I decided to stay awake a little longer and help out, eventhough it was kinda late.
We tried our best, eventhough there were alot of people from different linkshells.
The chance our little hold party would claim it was almost nihil. Yet we did! The fight went fine and one of our Rangers made the killing shot - 77 damage. And... 7eyes dropped! We let a few people lot on it, all lotting 700ish. The winning number was 777! Guess who hit the jackpot (*'~')/

Taruuuu \(^-^\)
Never in a million years did I expect to get this. Sometimes I got some crazy luck in this game *knocks on wood*

I hit 60 some weeks ago, thanks to linkshell members wanting to levelsync with me.

In sparetime I have been doing some missions and quests. Went to blow up stuff with Kiki. Apperently this thing was spreading deadly poison, killing off people...

Poisonwut? Taru size for the win!

Now time to make a new update with recent happenings. To be continuuuuueeed~

Old but still fun

  • Nov. 8th, 2008 at 12:16 PM

Don't be scared! It's just me, baby Odin. I got something to say to everyone that's bored of this game!

This game is fun!

There are many different mobs that you have to face.

And most of them have claws that are bigger than you.

Some may look cute, but they'll definitely eat you when you turn around.

Some of them would rather eat your friends first.

But you can keep them warm when that happens.

If theres no one to keep warm, you can always do the storyline.

You may find NPCs trying to keep you warm.

Or extra warm.

There are lots of events you can do.

If you find them boring, you can always spice things up.

Make snooze events fun again... Welcome the MP sponges!

If thats not good enough... just ask SE for a little help and you got yourself an epic event.

And what about random downtimes...  just follow a linkshell member that doesn't know what fear is.

For all the times that are still boring, you simply join the enemy and start pounding on random linkshell members.

And if all that isn't enough, you can always just hang out with your friends.

Killing your Friendspage

It's been a long time since my last FFXI update, so I've fallen behind once again D: Here's what kept me busy in FFXI during this summer's holiday. Warning incoming spoilers!

Unfortunatelly Matth decided to quit the game, so my summer in FFXI has mostly been me doing solo stuff if there weren't any linkshell things to do.

I finished all the WotG missions and I have to say, they were great! I love the Windurst story so much. SE portraited the great leaders of ancient Windurst times as heroes (sometimes a bit too overly confident) but they remained extremely cute, funny and clumpsy, it's adooooraaaable.

The story itself is quite brutal, something I didn't really expect. But I'm still hoping for a happy ending, especially for all those tarus that lost their lives in battles. I really feel for those tarus D:

In (very) short: Windurst is getting attacked by Yagudo's and the heroes of Windurst have to save their city from falling.

In one BC you are to intercept Yagudo forces on their way to Windurst. I didn't count them but I bet there came about 100 Yagudo's + a final boss. It was great fun to solo as pld/dnc. I heard this BC is quite easy as a BLM but I insisted in doing it as PLD because I love endurance fights. They kept coming for over 20 minutes, with 5-10 mobs continuesly poking me.

After the BC there was a great cutscene.

And as for the reward for the fight: I got sniffed by a male mithra ~_ ~;

Then the story moved to San Doria. I didn't really like it that San Dorian warriors helped out Windurst when they were losing in Fort Karugo-Narugo, but we returned the favour and helped them from extermination (why ;-;).

The BC was very interesting to do. When I arrived there I was thinking: I can do it, I can do it! But then 4 dead people came out from it x.x;;; Still thought that I should give it a try, so I went in. It started very smoothly, except I didn't know it did Draw In from wherever you were. So everytime my summon died I got warped right in front of the dragon, making me interupt sometimes. But more scary was that he would immediately do a WS after Draw in, leaving me sometimes totally unbuffed in front of him (dispelga) or leaving me with a heartattack from Petrifying Eyes.

Unfortunatelly the first time I lost. I ran out of MP too fast and had to switch over to Carbuncle. I couldn't recover MP fast enough in the times Carby had hate, because he died too fast, didn't have much hate and I could only wait for auto refresh. So for the next fight I brought a Yagudo drink, which meant I was easily able to do Silphion (new ability for SMN that steals 300MP from Elemental summons every 5 minutes) and resummon Fenrir for that extra bit of HP and Emnity.

You would think that after winning a fight like that and saving all those Elvaans they would take you serious... Yes they put me on a table =o=;

So Windurst got a male mithra yay... San Doria also got a new looking character. She's some famous dancer in San Doria that is chasing Caitsith. Her face expressions are great. Here she is getting owned by Caitsith.

And here is Caitsith skydiving.

The victory of saving Windurst and San Doria only lasted short. The cat seems to be the cause of all the problems and he shows you a vision of what the cities will look like soon. OMG Windurst >.<!

NUUUUUU dead Star Sybil NUUUUUUUUUUUU!!! I  really can't wait for the next missions. They're great fun, but I must save Star Sybil >.<!

Last but not least. Cutetaru!

And my new favoured taru. Zonpa-Zippa, creator of the Cardians. Love his attitude.

This post is really becoming too big so I'll stop for now. I've alot of none related things to this story to say still, but I'll save them for later. Until then^^/

Living the dream

  • Aug. 3rd, 2008 at 1:31 PM
For the passed weeks Matth came to visit me in Holland. The days really flew by. The first few days we were very busy visiting alot of different towns. Unfortunatelly before I went to pick up Matth from the airport I got a stomache, which I thought were just nerves or something like that but it took a few days to pass. Matth however was being very nice to me eventhough I was a bit grumpy because of that >.>;. Luckily it passed fast enough and we spend some very active days in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Tilburg, Nijmegen and on a biketrip! Maybe it was a bit too active lol because we were always so tired when we got home, but we had alot of fun nonetheless!

We went to Rotterdam where we wanted to see some Airplane race in the city, but as soon as we arrived, they stopped >.> Our luck. So we just toured around the city and had dinner. I wished I took a picture of matth's face when he saw his food arrive, his face was worth a million XD. He ordered Spare Ribs and they gave him what seemed like almost a whole pig lol. Can't believe he could eat it all XD His face afterwards was even worth more :D:D
In Tilburg we went to a huge fair where Matth won cute plush dolls for me :D Too bad we didn't win any huge prices. We were sometimes close, but I'm pretty sure it's almost impossible to win something like a Wii there.
We went to Madam Tussaud in Amsterdam, which was great lol because Matth pretty much wanted to take a picture with every doll eventhough my camera could only take like 40 pics XD.

Dutch cities are cool and there is quite alot historical places to see, aswell as new attractions. However I also wanted to show Matth the other side of Holland, which is nature, because nature in Holland is alot different from the one on Sicily. We went to a village called Oisterwijk and we rented bikes (yes bikes!). Matth didn't ride a bike for like 10 years so it was so rofl to see him riding it. He actually did good, Until some people wanted to pass and Matth decided to give them space and just totally move off the road and crash in a tree haha. Where was my camera T_T!!!

In Nijmegen we met up with Vivify and Evenstar. We went there the week before but it was horrible weather and super crowded, so it was more suffering than a cool trip <.< With Vivi and Even it was very enjoyable though. They took us on a tour through Nijmegen, which is cool cos I didn't know anything about the city when I was walking there with Matth the week before^^; Afterwards we had a barbeque and almost fried some cats '~'

We also went to my city, 's-Hertogenbosch (yes, weird name <.<) where we did some boat tour and climbed some cathedral. Was a nice view but the tour on the cathedral was a bit boring for me, so I can't imagine how it must've been for Matth, who doesn't understand much dutch >.>
We also went to see two movies, Hancock and Batman. Hancock was cool, Batman was great! If I'm honest I'm not a huge fan of batman so I didn't have much hopes for this movie, but the story was great and it's really worth watching, even for nuubs like me.
The weather wasn't always working with us and sadly Matth caught a cold during one of the trips and sortly after it I received it from him <.< So the rest of the days we spend relaxing alot and going out once a while.

I really had the best time again and everyday felt like a dream *.*.
No real life picture this time. We didn't take that many. Maybe next time :D It might be soon depending on our school schedules ^_^
Random pic for wall-o-text's sake.
